James V. Kelly, 56, passed away at his home in Holmes on August 23, 2016 following a courageous battle with cancer.

Jimmy was predeceased by his parents, Vincent and Gail Kelly; and his brother, Michael P. Kelly. He is survived by his sister, Barbara Ann Kelly; his son, Vincent Kelly; his companion, Edna Maluda; and his devoted dog, Molly.

Jimmy was born on May 4, 1960 in the Bronx. He moved to Carmel as a child and went to the Pawling schools. He served in the United States Marine Corps from 1979-1982. Jimmy retired from the Patterson Village Condominiums where he was the maintenance manager for many years. He was a member of the Patterson Community Church. Jimmy enjoyed NASCAR, working in his garden, and any tractor – competitions, repairing them and showing them. He will be missed by so many.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday at 1pm at the Patterson Community Church, 1062 Route 311, Patterson. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Patterson Community Church.
