James "Jim" Mason
July 13, 1947 – July 19, 2024
Jim was born & raised in Peekskill, NY. He was predeceased by his parents, James and Fanny (Gallucci), his sisters Arline (Compitello), Diane (Valentino), Jane (Kreutzberg), Ann Patricia ("Teashia" Hughes), Frances (Taylor), and his brother John.
Jim is survived by his brother, Patrick and his sisters, Geraldine (Gerry) and her husband, John Perricelli and Lynda (Mason Genovese) as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. His love for his family was beyond measure. After graduating from WV University, he moved to Boston, MA but eventually returned to the NY Area.
He was well traveled, having taken several trips with family and friends, but had no problem with going it alone! One of his favorite places was Las Vegas and he made numerous trips there. Jazz was his choice of music with John Coltrane being one of his favorite artists. Jim retired from his position as a phone linesman a few years ago and was enjoying his retirement in Poughkeepsie, NY.
He will be missed by his friends and family but never forgotten!
