James J. Morgan, 67 years of age and a lifelong resident of Beacon, NY passed away peacefully at his home on May 31, 2021.

James successfully contributed to IBM computers and software for 30 years and after retirement from IBM spent many happy years perfecting the gorgeous gardens surrounding their home and researching his genealogy. He was extremely talented in woodworking and landscaping, was affectionate, caring and generous to his family and friends.

James is survived by his loving spouse, Stephen Bianchi of 40 years.

James is also survived by his sisters Bonnie Morgan and Sherrie Velilla and her husband Joe, Nephews Bruce Aponte, Joey Velilla, Ryan Velilla, Kevin Velilla, and his niece Catherine Morgan.

James is pre-deceased by his brothers Gary, John and Philip Morgan, his niece Stephanie Aponte and great-nephew Brice Aponte.

A memorial service for James will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2021 at St. Joachim Church, 51 Leonard Street, Beacon, NY 12508.
