PLEASANT VALLEY – James Stewart, 85, a resident of Pleasant Valley, died on June 6, 2017 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.

Born in the Bronx on June 21, 1931, James was the son of the late Alexander and Margaret Stewart. He worked as a supervisor at White Castle Restaurant in the Bronx for many years until his retirement. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing.

James is survived by his wife, Marilyn (McGuire) Stewart; his daughter, Kathleen Guglielmo of Armonk; his son, James Stewart of Union Vale; and his brother, John Stewart.
