James Lincoln Todd, Jr, 90, of Hopewell Jct. died quietly on Nov. 24, 2021 at Vassar Bros. Medical Center leaving behind Katharine L Adamo, James (Heather) Adamo and Juliet (Justin) Andrews. And nephews William (Coradel) Little IV of Palatine, IL; Lincoln (Violetta) Little of Naples, FL; and Todd (Sally) Little of Lafayette, CO; together with many grands & great grands. Predeceased by his sister, Juliet T Little, in 2004 and his greatest love, Mariana Patricia Moreno Todd, in 1989.

Born with a slide rule in his hand in Syracuse, NY on Dec. 4, 1930 to Katharine L and James L Todd, Jim grew up in Jamesville, NY. He spent his youth tormenting his sister and photographing, hiking and skiing any mountain he could climb. A graduate of Northwood School and Cornell University, he took a break in his studies to serve in the Navy on board USS Antietam and Shangri La. His engineering career began at Sandia National Labs, Albuquerque, NM in 1958 where he was ultimately recognized as a Distinguished Member of the Technical Staff in 1989. Retiring in 1995, Jim started his final chapter by moving to Hopewell Jct, NY, where he rescued Kitty and helped shape the lives of James and Julie.
