Fishkill - James F. Walker, a longtime resident of Fishkill, NY passed away at home on October 16, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.

James was born on February 23, 1963, the son of Kenneth and Elizabeth (Mulvaney) Walker in Binghamton, NY.

James was a Real Estate Associate Broker with Keller-Williams Hudson Valley United in Middletown, NY.

For the past 36 years Jim stayed side by side with the true love of his life, Elsie Cabot whom we just married on October 5, 2023, at a home ceremony. She survives at home.

Jim had a love of flying and was working diligently up until the time of his death to obtain his pilot's license and was a member of the Grasshopper Flying Club. He enjoyed fishing, kayaking, and hiking and his most favorite place to hike was in Kauai, HI along the Na Pali Coastline.

Above all he loved spending time with his two four-legged children, his German Shepherd's, Sam & Maya.

In addition to his wife, James is survived by his siblings: Mary E. Dubois and her husband Stephan, Peter A. Walker and his wife Suzanne, Christopher M. Walker and his wife Megumi, Carol A. Walker and her husband Barry Winter, Thomas B. Walker and his wife Amy, Barbara J. Curtis and her husband Gary and Patricia L. Licari and her husband Daniel. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, friends, and colleagues.

Calling hours will be Sunday, October 22, 2023, at McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill, NY 12524 from 1pm to 3pm. A service will take place in the funeral home at 2:30pm.
