Jane C. Parenti, 62, a resident of Orlando, FL since 2000 and formerly of Hopewell Junction, died on Sunday, October 5, 2014 at her home.
Born in Brooklyn on February 10, 1952, she was the daughter of the late Martin and Ida Coppersmith. Jane was a parishioner of St. Maximilian Kolbe Church in Orlando and had been a parishioner of St. Columba Church in Hopewell Junction.
On June 25, 1972 at St. Martha's Church in Uniondale, Jane married Peter M. Parenti, Jr. who survives at home. She is also survived by her son, Peter M. Parenti and Wendy Przetakiewicz of Fishkill; her brother, Martin Coppersmith and his wife Jean of Yorktown Heights; her grandsons, Michael Gerard Wheeler and Peter Daniel Ozzy Parenti; and her nieces, Linda Sinforoso and Eileen Coppersmith. She was predeceased by her daughter, Andrea Nicole Parenti Wheeler on August 11, 2006.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10am at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction followed by interment in St. Denis Cemetery.
