Jean Digiaimo's Obituary
Jean Audrey Purdy DiGiaimo, 86, passed away on Friday, August 13, 2021, peacefully at home with family by her side.
Jean was born September 1, 1934, in Cold Spring, NY. She was predeceased by her parents, Edna and Eugene Purdy of Cold Spring, along with her husband, Nicholas Conrad DiGiaimo; her son, Paul Conrad DiGiaimo; and her siblings, Beverly of Riverside, CA, Richard of Millbrook, NY, and Edward of Kingston, NY.
Jean was a loving aunt to several nieces and nephews. She is survived by her son Nicholas and his wife Julie, and grandchildren Nicholas of Beacon, NY and Christina of Seattle, WA.
Jean graduated from Haldane in Cold Spring and began her working career at IBM, until she left to raise her two sons.
Funeral arrangements were entrusted to McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc.
There will not be any calling hours. A Mass for Jean will be held at St. Mary, Mother of the Church, 103 Jackson Street, Fishkill, NY on Tuesday, August 17, 2021, at 10:00am followed by burial at Cold Spring Cemetery, 33 Peekskill Road, Cold Spring.
