Jean Krepp, 91, a resident of Hopewell Junction since 1965 and formerly of Astoria, died following an extended illness on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at the River Valley Care Center where she has resided for several years.
Born in Scotland on August 10, 1922, she was the daughter of John and Jeannie Blair Clarke. Jean worked as an executive with Macy's in Herald Square and Regal Park. She was a member of the East Fishkill Historical Society.
Jean was finally reunited with her husband George Krepp who died in 2011. She is survived by her daughters, Linda Sinclair and her husband Donald of Reno, NV, and Valerie Krepp of Queens; her grandchildren, Wendy Ernaut and her husband Peter of Reno, NV, Rob Sinclair of Vail, CO and Kim Krepp of Albany; 8 great-grandchildren and 1 great,great-grandchild.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday at 11am at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route82, Hopewell Junction with Rev. Paul Lent officiating. Interment will follow in Fishkill Rural Cemetery.
