Jeanette T. Sands passed away peacefully at home on her favorite day of the year, Christmas, December 25, 2024. She was born on May 21, 1955 to James and Bessie Sands. She graduated from John Jay High School and from Mount St Mary's College with a bachelors degree in Psychology.

Jeanette had a kind heart and a deep love for her cats. She had a wonderful friendly smile to all she met. She frequented I-84 Diner and loved the staff who were always kind to her.

She is survived by her brother James V. Sands Jr. and her dear friend Sue. She was predeceased by both her parents.

There will be a private burial.
