Wappingers Falls- Jeffrey S. Cooper, a resident of Wappingers Falls, NY passed away on October 20, 2022 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center, after a valiant battle with heart disease. He was 69 years old.

Jeffrey was born in Yonkers, NY on January 22, 1953, the son of James and Eleanore (Dmytryszyn) Cooper.

Jeffrey worked for and retired from Entergy/NYPA at Indian Point in Buchanan, NY after 28 years, as a Security Coordinator and Investigator.

He was a parishioner of St. Columba Church in Hopewell Junction.

Jeff was a lifelong New York Jets fan, avid New York Yankees fan, and he enjoyed fishing. He adored his family and loved spending time with his grandchildren at their vacation home in Fenwick Island, Delaware and formerly in Oak Island, North Carolina.

He is survived by his loving wife Judith (Rice) Cooper, his children Alexis Reyes and her husband James and his son Jeffrey Cooper and his wife Meghan. His grandchildren, James, Ella, Stella, Jeffrey, and George, sisters Suzanne Kinsley and her husband Charles, Hillary Cox and her husband William, his brothers James Cooper II and his wife Mellie and John Cooper and his wife Mary, sister-in-law Jeanette Cooper, along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his parents, Jeffrey is predeceased by his brother Edward Robert Cooper.

Calling hours will be Wednesday October 26, 2022, from 4pm-7pm at the McHoul Funeral Home 895 Route 82 Hopewell Junction, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday October 27, 2022, at St. Columba Church Hopewell Junction, NY. Interment to follow at St. Augustine's Cemetery in Ossining, NY.
