Jeffrey A. Gardner, 47, a lifelong area resident, died on Wednesday, September 16, 2015.

Born in Poughkeepsie on July 16, 1968, he was the son of Lillian Morse and the late Chester E. Gardner. He had the "need for speed" and was always going "full throttle." He loved all of his toys especially his Harley Davidson Motorcycle. He was an amazing motocross cyclist who received many awards.

On March 30, 2015 in the Bahamas, Jeff married Dawn Kalter. In addition to his mother and his wife, he is survived by his daughter Katelyn "Katie" Gardner whom he loved immensely; his stepdaughter, Antonia Mirabelle who lovingly called him "Papa Dukes"; his sisters, Dawn Marie Montano and Darlene Swartz and her husband Bobby; his stepmother, Maureen Gardner; his mother and father-in-law, Diana and Bob Kalter; his former wife, Kerry Gardner; his dog, Leo; his cat, Bubba; and many other loving family members and friends.

Jeff had a heart of gold, and those who knew him loved him. He will be incredibly missed by all.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 12-2pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction followed by a funeral service at 2pm.
