Jeffrey Peter Kidd

Jeffrey Peter Kidd, a Wappingers Falls resident since 1999, formerly of Scarsdale and Brewster, passed away suddenly at home on Wednesday, November 4, 2026. He was 55.

Son of the late George Andrew and Lynn (Nielsen) Kidd, he was born in Mount Kisco on December 15, 1970. Jeffrey graduated from Brewster High School and later earned a bachelor's degree in nursing from Pace University.

He worked as a registered nurse for several health care facilities throughout the Hudson Valley including Montefiore Hospital in the Bronx as well Vassar Brothers Medical Center and Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital, both located in Poughkeepsie.

Jeffrey was an avid outdoorsman who had a great passion for boating, especially along the Hudson River. He also loved skiing and trips to the beach, especially spending time at his Cape Cod home in Chatham, MA.

In 1996, he married Christine M. Paresi in Smithtown, Long Island. Christine survives at home in Wappingers Falls.

He is also survived by his son, Jonathan and daughter, Sophia; his brothers, James Kidd & his wife Diane and Christopher Kidd & his wife Victoria; his aunt, Theresa Mauro; his mother-in-law, Marie Paresi; his father-in-law, Anthony Paresi & his wife Michele; his siblings-in-law, Gabrielle Morgan & her husband Chris, Danielle Paresi, Dominic Paresi, and Nicholas Paresi; as well as several nieces & nephews along with their families; and many other loving family members.

Calling hours will be held from 4:00pm to 8:00pm on Tuesday, November 24 at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill, NY. A memorial service will be held at 7:30pm.
