Jennifer Marie Amico, 44, a lifelong resident of Hillside Lake, died unexpectedly on Thursday, August 11, 2011 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.

Born in Poughkeepsie on November 15, 1966, she was the daughter of the late Frank Patrick Ogden and Jacqueline Ann Bunnell Ogden. Jen was employed as a cosmetologist at Rosanna's Beauty Salon in Wappingers Falls for many years. She attended Mass at St. Columba Church in Hopewell Junction and was a member of the East Fishkill Republican Club. She enjoyed reading, painting, fishing and interior decorating and was very involved with her sons' schools and sports teams.

On November 18, 1989 at St. Denis Church, Jen married John Amico who survives at home. She is also survived by her sons, John and Brandon Amico; her siblings, Frank, Thomas, Scott, Laurie and Michael; her mother-in-law, Rosemarie D'Antoni; her sister-in-laws, Joanne Burghardt and Angela Rufino; and her nieces and nephews, Angelo, Dana Rose, Ashley, Gloria, April, Mindy, Donald, Michael, Jinay and Michael.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 am at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction followed by interment in St. Denis Cemetery.
