HOPEWELL JUNCTION - Jennifer Lyn Pazereckis, 44, died at home surrounded by her family on April 14, 2016. She will be remembered by her family and friends as a hero in her courageous seven year battle with cancer.

Jennifer was born on March 18, 1972 in Mount Kisco. She was raised in Hopewell Junction, where she played softball for the Town of East Fishkill and John Jay High School, and also played for the Dutchess Debs. She had previously been employed as an administrative assistant at New Century Medical in Fishkill.

She enjoyed RVing, going to the casinos, and gardening. Jennifer was a devoted and loving mother, who actively volunteered at her daughter's school, Brinckerhoff Elementary School, where she managed the school store and was in charge of their Box Tops for Education program.

On November 20, 1999 in Hopewell Junction, Jennifer married Gary Pazereckis who survives at home. She is also survived by her beautiful daughter, Kaitlyn; her parents, Robert and Barbara Newlan of Hopewell Junction; her sister, Laura Noctor and her husband Daragh of Hopewell Junction; her mother-in-law, Margaret Pazereckis of Fishkill; her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Al and Rita Pazereckis; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. She was predeceased by her father-in-law, Alfred "Big Al" Pazereckis.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 3-7 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The funeral service will follow at 7pm at the funeral home.
