Jeremiah J. Mahoney V., age 62, passed away on June 22, 2023 in Beekman, NY. Born in Bethpage, NY on March 1, 1961, he was the son of Jeremiah J. Mahoney IV and Alice (Henry) Mahoney. On September 28th 1991, at St. James in Carmel, NY he married his beloved wife Regina who survives at home.

Jeremiah proudly served our country in the United States Marine Corps with four years of exemplary service from 1980-1984. He reached the rank of Sergeant. During his service, he received the Rifle Sharpshooter Qualification Badge, two Sea Service Deployment Ribbons, the Navy Unit Commendation Ribbon, and the Marine Corps Expeditionary Medal. He worked in the grocery industry for over 35 years, including during the Coronavirus Pandemic.

In his spare time, Jeremiah loved to garden, spend time with his dogs, and watch baseball. He also loved music, motorcycles and world history and politics.

In addition to his wife Regina Mahoney, Jeremiah is survived by his sons Jeremiah J. Mahoney VI and Daniel Mahoney, his daughters Erin Hill (Preston Hill) and Sarah Mahoney, and his two sisters Kathleen Bell (John Bell) and Geraldine Mahoney.

Jeremiah was predeceased by his mother and father Alice and Jeremiah J. Mahoney IV.
