EAST FISHKILL – Joan E. Holmwood, 85, passed away on Friday, October 22, 2021 after a long battle with complications following a stroke. Her wish to be at home was made possible with the help of her aides Georgann, Michelle, and Diandra.
She was the daughter of the late Harry K. Mallery and Ethel Mallery. She was predeceased by two younger sisters, Sandra Eggleston and MariPat Weld. Surviving are sisters Nancy Holleran of Vienna, VA and Dr. Susan Mallery of Columbus, OH; and brother Hank Mallery and his wife Rennie of Brookeville, MD.
