POUGHKEEPSIE – Joan Marilyn Lenz, 85, died on July 8, 2017 at home surrounded by her family. She formerly lived in Mount Kisco, Ardsley, and the Bronx.

Born in Elizabeth, NJ on August 8, 1931, she was the daughter of the late George and Lillie (Buss) Lenz. She had been employed as a medical receptionist for many years until her retirement.

She is survived by her children, Walter Semke and his wife Victoria of Ohio, Eric Semke and his wife Sharon of Poughquag, Katherine Semke of Tarrytown, and Christopher Semke and his wife Paulette of Hyde Park; her 6 grandchildren; and her brother, William Buss of Milton.
