FISHKILL – Joan Morton, 89, a resident of Fishkill since 1958, died on April 15, 2020 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.
Born on July 20, 1930 in the Bronx, she was the daughter of Peter and Frances (Fitzgerald) Delise. Joan enjoyed hiking, painting, gardening, vacation traveling, and spending time with her friends at the Fishkill Bagel Shoppe.
On February 23rd, 1952 in the Bronx, Joan married Robert A. Morton who predeceased her on December 13, 2018. She is survived by her son, Robert Morton and his wife Alison of Poughkeepsie; her grandchildren, Rebecca Morton of Scotia and David Stier of Minnesota; and her nieces / nephews including, Diane Fitzgerald, Justine Allison, Gary Delise, Edward Delise.
Services will be private. Arrangements are under the direction of the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc.
