Joanne DeMichiel, age 87, passed away at Montefiore St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital on June 20, 2024.
She was born in the Bronx, NY on December 11, 1936 to the late Joseph and Agnes Press. On October 5, 1968 in Riverdale, she married her beloved husband John DeMichiel, who survives at home.
Joanne worked as a PreSchool Teacher at Holy Rosary in Hawthorne, NY. She loved shopping, summer vacations to Rhode Island beaches, and spending time with her grandchildren and family.
In addition to her husband John, she is survived by her children Jon DeMichiel and his wife Kate, and Amy Conroy and her husband Brian; and her grandchildren: Matthew, Rebecca, and Sean Conroy and Dylan and Emma DeMichiel.
Funeral services are private and at the convenience of the family.
