John Careccia, proudly born and raised in the Northeast Bronx, New York, and recently residing in Poughkeepsie, NY, went home to God on Friday, May 8th, at the age of 76. Johnny was known for his love of music and movies and was given the nickname by friends of Johnny Beatle. Johnny also showed great promise as an artist in his youth with his natural abilities and talents.

He is survived by his sister-in-law, Susan Careccia, and his sisters Maria Careccia and Debra Kelle Careccia, seven nieces and nephews, and six great nieces and nephews and many dear friends. He has gone home to be with his Mother, Marie Peragine Careccia, his father Mario Careccia, and his beloved brother Vince Careccia, as well as many cousins and cherished Aunts and Uncles and grandparents.

A Mass in his honor will be held at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction, New York on Saturday, May 23, 2026 at 10:00 am.
