John Anthony Esposito, 59, a local area resident for 30 years and formerly of Mount Kisco and White Plains, died on Monday, December 7, 2009 at Putnam Hospital Center in Carmel following a brief illness.
Born in Calabria, Italy on February 22, 1950, he was the son of the late Vito and Josephine Deodato Esposito. He was the co-owner of Blood Brothers, an automotive salvage and recycling facility, in Mamaroneck from 1989 until 2006. John was a highly skilled automotive drivetrain technician. He was an avid golfer and a member of the Red Hook Golf Club. He also was a carpenter and model builder.
On July 10, 1976 in White Plains, John married Shelley Williams who survives at home. He is also survived by his son, Joseph Esposito and his wife, Samantha of Stockton, CA ; his daughter, Regina Esposito of Stormville; his sister-in-law, Kathy Pfister of Pleasant Valley; his mother and father-in-law, Alice and Ted Williams of LaGrangeville; his brother-in-law, Bruce Williams of Hyde Park; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Joseph Esposito.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction.
