John David Gustin, 38, a resident of St. Petersburg, FL and formerly of Stormville, died on September 19, 2021.

Born in Mount Kisco on October 16, 1982, he was the son of Richard and Carol (Mack) Gustin. John graduated from Carmel High School and Horry Georgetown Technical College. He was working in the restaurant industry in Florida. John was a car fanatic – spending his free time renovating racecars and collectibles.

In addition to his parents, John is survived by his siblings and their spouses, Richard and Sondra Gustin, Melanie and Jens Peter Timm, Andrew Gustin, Daniel and Jennifer Gustin; his nieces and nephews, Emily, Richard III, Anais, Olin Henry, Aidan and Ryder; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, December 3, from 7-9pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday, December 4 at 11:30am at St. Columba Church, 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction.

Memorial donations may be made in John's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
