EAST FISHKILL – John Lennane, 80, an area resident for 12 years and formerly of the Bronx, died on April 21, 2021 at his home following a long illness.

Born in the Bronx on November 25, 1940, he was the son of Albert and Susan (Keane) Lennane. John was employed as a security guard for RY Management in New York City. He enjoyed watching horse racing and scratch off's.

John was predeceased by his wife Della (O'Connor) Lennane on September 19, 2003; and his daughter, Tracy Lennane. He is survived by his children, Donna and Sam Qritiem, Thomas and Beatriz Lennane, and Kerry Lennane; and his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Brandon, Joseph, Gerry and Jessalynn.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 8:30 – 9:30am at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday at 10am at St. Denis Church, 602 Beekman Road, Hopewell Junction followed by interment in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Hudson Valley Hospice.
