John W. McQuade, Sr, formerly of Rye, NY, passed away peacefully on February 21, 2020 following a brief illness.

Born on November 5,1952, in White Plains, NY, he was the son of the late Francis Xavier and Mary McQuade.

Recently retired, he was an avid golfer and longtime member of Westchester Country Club, and life-long fan of the New York Giants. He was a graduate of Stepinac High School, and studied at the University of Tampa, Florida.

He is survived by his son John and daughter Ali; two grandchildren; sisters MaryAnn and Eileen; and brothers Brian and Francis. A brother, Kevin, predeceased him.

A Mass of Christian Burial and celebration of his life will be held at the Church of the Resurrection, 910 Boston Post Rd, Rye, NY on Thursday, February 27 at 10am. His cremains will be interred in Lee, Massachusetts at a later date.
