John W. Scott

John W. Scott passed away on June 23, 2026 at the age of 70. Born in the Bronx on September 27, 1955, he was the son of the late William and Jacqueline (Beasley) Scott.

John retired from DG3 in Jersey City. He was a Shipping Manager. Previously he had worked at Met Life Insurance. He was active in sports for most of his life, especially softball and basketball. He was very good at billiards, and an all around good guy.

He is survived by his son John Scott Jr.; his brothers William and Kevin Scott; and his sister Linda Scott Narciso.

John was predeceased by his brother Mark Scott on June 12, 2026.

Arrangements are private and under the direction of the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc. Family may announce a memorial service in the future.
