NEW ROCHELLE - John F. Tornese, 84, passed away at home surrounded by his family on October 23, 2024. A resident of New Rochelle for 46 years, he previously lived in the Bronx and Yorktown.

Born on July 11, 1940 in the Bronx, he was the son of the late Louis John and Marianna (Donato) Tornese. He proudly served in the US Navy from 1961-1963. John owned and operated Tre John Printing in New York City until his retirement. He was a parishioner at Sts. John & Paul Church in Larchmont.

On July 6, 1961 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in the Bronx, he married Helen A. (Immediate) Tornese who predeceased him in 2019. He is survived by his children and their spouses, John and Reyna Tornese, Steven and Helen Tornese, and KristyHelen and Michael Napolitano; his sister, Deanna Wharton and her husband Glen and many nieces and nephews. John will especially be missed dearly by his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday, October 30th at 10 am at Sts. John & Paul Church, 280 Weaver Street, Larchmont followed by inurnment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery with military honors.
