BEEKMAN - Jonathan Ranier Velardo, 22, an area resident since 2002 and formerly of Carmel, died on November 10, 2019 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. He was known as Jon or Jonny V to all who loved him.

Born in Mount Kisco on September 20, 1997, he was the son of Jose Velardo and Sandra Kuhn Priore. Jon graduated from Arlington High School in 2016, He enjoyed hiking, fishing, camping, drawing and listening to music.

Jon is survived by his mother and stepfather, Sandra and Tim Priore; his father, Jose Velardo; his grandparents, Juana Kuhn, Fransisca Velardo, and John and Sandra Priore; and his siblings, Fernando Velardo, Lia Priore, Romina Velardo Contrera, Joel Velardo, Claudio Velardo, Jenna Priore, and PJ Priore.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 3-7pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction with a funeral service at 6:15 pm.
