Jorge Alfredo Huincho, 65, passed from this life into eternal life on Monday, May 2, 2022. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and friend to many, having lived a blessed life.

Born in Lima, Peru, on April 3, 1957, he was the son of Adolfo Huincho and Eufemia Ticona.  He proclaimed and practiced his faith in every aspect of his life. Jorge was a member of the Iglesia Cristiana, "El Sembrador" (Harvest Church), in Wappingers Falls. Jorge's kindness and generosity also reached many within the church and community. He was a faithful disciple of Christ and a teacher of the Bible.

After a notable career as a technician in the Ministry of Defense of Peru, Jorge and his wife Elsy, whom he married on March 18, 1983, in Lima, Peru, founded a community pharmacy in Lima. At "El Buen Pastor" (The Good Shepherd) pharmacy, Jorge provided essential health services to the community and was often sought as a trusted source of information.

Jorge moved to the United States with his family in 2005, later becoming a citizen of this great nation. Once in the US, he worked diligently to provide new opportunities and a successful future for his family. They will sustain his legacy for generations to come.

Jorge is survived by his wife, Elsy Huincho, who will miss him dearly. He is also survived by his father, Adolfo Huincho; his siblings, Adolfo, Pablo, Juana, Sonia, Haydeé and his father-in-law, Grimaldo Cuellar; his children and their spouses, Jorge Esteban Huincho and Karina Gutierrez Huincho, Sara Acosta Huincho and Danilo Acosta, and Benjamin Huincho; and his grandchildren, Daniela, Nehemias, and Andres. He was predeceased by his mother Eufemia Ticona, and his mother-in-law, Sara Cuellar.

A celebration of Jorge's life will be held on Saturday from 3-7pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction.  There will be a service at 5pm.



Jorge Alfredo Huincho, de 65 años, pasó de esta vida a la vida eterna el lunes 2 de mayo del 2022. Fue un extraordinario esposo, padre, abuelo, tio y amigo de mucha gente quienes fueron bendecidos por su vida ejemplar.

Nacido en Lima, Perú, el 3 de abril de 1957, fue hijo de Adolfo Huincho y Eufemia Ticona. Proclamó y practicó su fe en todos los aspectos de su vida. Jorge era miembro de la Iglesia Cristiana, "El Sembrador" en Wappingers Falls. La amabilidad y generosidad de Jorge impactó a muchos dentro de la iglesia y la comunidad. Fue un fiel discípulo de Cristo y un maestro de la Biblia.

Luego de una carrera distinguida como técnico en el Ministerio de Defensa del Perú, Jorge y su esposa Elsy, con quien se casó el 18 de marzo de 1983 en Lima, Perú, fundaron una farmacia comunitaria en Lima. En la farmacia "El Buen Pastor", Jorge brindaba servicios de salud esenciales a la comunidad y, a menudo, la gente lo buscaba como un recurso confiable de información.

Jorge emigró a los Estados Unidos con su familia en 2005, convirtiéndose luego en ciudadano de esta gran nación. Una vez en los EE. UU., trabajó diligentemente para brindar nuevas oportunidades y un futuro exitoso para su familia. Ellos pasarán el legado de Jorge a las generaciones venideras.

A Jorge le sobrevive su esposa, Elsy Huincho, quien lo extrañará mucho. También le sobreviven su padre Adolfo Huincho y sus hermanos Adolfo, Pablo, Juana, Sonia, Haydeé, y Roxana; su suegro, Grimaldo Cuéllar; sus hijos y cónyuges, Jorge Esteban Huincho y Karina Gutiérrez Huincho, Sara Acosta Huincho y Danilo Acosta, y Benjamín Huincho; y sus nietos, Daniela, Nehemías y Andrés. Le antecedieron en muerte su madre, Eufemia Ticona, y su suegra, Sara Cuéllar.

Se llevará a cabo una celebración de la vida de Jorge el sábado de 3 a 7 p. m. en McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. Habrá un servicio a las 5pm.
