Joseph Ahlbeck, age 79, passed away on November 2, 2022 at the Pines at Poughkeepsie Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation. He was born in White Plains, New York to parents Carl and Natalie (Ventura) Ahlbeck. He married his beloved wife Diane on April 30, 1966 in Pleasantville, New York.

Joseph worked as a Machinist for Fen-Bar Machinists in Hawthorne, New York for 50 years. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and anything to do with cars.

He is survived by his wife Diane of Beacon, NY; his daughter Jennifer Lee of Wappingers, NY; his son Brian Joseph and his wife Katie of Glendale, CA; his grandson Cole of Fishkill, NY; his granddaughter Alexis of Wappingers, NY; his sister-in-law Joanne of Palm Coast, FL; his niece Cheryl of Fishkill, NY; his nephew Kevin of Palm Coast, FL; and his brother Carl Ahlbeck of Hawley, PA.

Joseph was predeceased by his parents Carl and Natalie Ahlbeck; his father-in-law Raymond Smith; mother-in-law Hilde Smith; and brother-in-law Jerry.

A very special thank you to Joe's nurses, aides and friends at the Pines for always taking such good care of him. Especially his "sister" Shaquana.
