Joseph Anthony Conciatori Jr.

Joseph A. Conciatori Jr., 72, died peacefully on September 24, 2026, surrounded by his loving family following a brief illness. Born on April 20, 1954 to the late Emanuela and Joseph Conciatori in Brooklyn, New York, Joe went on to thrive in athletics once his family moved to Somers, NY. Off the fields, Joe could be found working hard or hardly working alongside his family at King Kone.

After years in the restaurant industry, with the highlight being working at Huckleberry's where he met his devoted wife, Sheila, Joe went on to work in beverage sales at D. Bertoline and Sons in Peekskill, NY, where he met lifelong friends.

Joe and Sheila married on May 12, 1990 and went on to raise a beautiful family in Poughkeepsie, NY. The job that Joe took most seriously was being a father to his two children, Amanda (Jack) Santangelo and Joseph III (MaryGrace). He was at every baseball game, dance recital, and always was available and excited for phone calls with his kids. He gave the best advice and had the quickest wit.

In addition to being an amazing father, Joe became a grandfather to Teddy in 2024 and a new level of love and adoration was unlocked. Joe and Teddy had a special relationship that will stay with both of them forever. He is also grandfather to a granddaughter, Maisy Josephine, who is due to arrive in early November.

Joe is also survived by his brother Robert (Dawn) Conciatori, sisters Liz Conciatori and Teresa (Steve) Hebeisen. Joe will be remembered fondly by his brothers and sisters-in-law and his many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff who took great care of Joe over the past few months in various departments at MidHudson Regional Medical Center.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 2-6pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. There will be a service at 5:30pm.
