Myrtle Beach, SC – Joseph Alan Cuozzo passed away on February 11, 2022. He was born on March 19, 1956 in Yonkers, NY to Anthony and Mary (Chiarilli) Cuozzo.

Joseph graduated from Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry and during the years of 1978-1979, he was Captain of his college's baseball team. He loved sports very much, particularly baseball and football, and was an avid Yankees and Giants fan. His other hobbies included playing golf and listening to music.

Joe was a resident of Fishkill for many years before retiring to Myrtle Beach in 2018. During his time spent there, he loved to play golf often with his brother Anthony. His friends and family enjoyed his company immensely and he will always be remembered for his witty sense of humor.

Joe is survived by his son Joey Cuozzo of Myrtle Beach, SC; his daughter Shannon Smith (James) of Hopewell Junction, NY; grandchildren Gianna and Hunter Smith of Hopewell Junction, NY, and Alexis Bovino-Smith of Beacon, NY; brother Anthony Cuozzo of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and sister Lucille Cuozzo Dolack (Ronald) of Punta Gorda, FL.
He was predeceased by his parents Anthony and Mary.

Memorial Calling hours will be held at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction, NY on Saturday March 19th, 2022 from 1-4pm, with the Memorial Service to begin at 1:30pm.
