Hopewell Junction - Joseph C. Frenze, Jr., 69, an area resident since 1970, died on June 9, 2018 surrounded by his family.

Born in New Rochelle on March 14, 1949, he was the son of Joseph C. and Anita (Losi) Frenze. Joseph proudly served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was dedicated to his career as a Realtor in Dutchess and Orange counties for 33 years until his retirement in 2008.

Joseph was a man who loved life! An avid outdoorsman, he liked traveling, boating, hiking, and golfing. He also enjoyed the time he spent at All Sport in Fishkill. More than anything, he loved being with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Joseph is survived by his daughters, Michelle Shook and her husband Donald of Wappingers Falls, and Amanda Knight of Poughquag; his grandchildren, Lauren and Evan Shook, Dylan and Gabrielle Knight; his sister, Norma DellaDonna and her husband Alex of Wappingers Falls; and several nephews, grand nieces, and grand nephews.

A private family graveside service was held at Fishkill Rural Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc.
