Joseph James Holczinger, 80, passed away on January 17, 2025 at Norwalk Hospital. He was born in Manhattan, on September 21, 1944 to the late Joseph and Aranka (Hauser) Holczinger. Formerly of the Bronx, Joseph was an area resident for 45 years. On September 7, 1968, he married his loving wife Theresa (Margiasso) Holczinger. They were married for 56 years, Theresa resides at home.

Joseph was a very family-oriented man who loved spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren. He was a huge fan of all things Disney, and greatly enjoyed traveling to Disney World with his family. He also enjoyed going on cruises. He loved music, old Western movies, and he was also an avid watcher of sports, especially his NY Mets.

In addition to his wife Theresa, Joseph is survived by his children: Joseph Holczinger and his wife Kim, Nicole Moore and her husband William, and Amanda Holczinger; his grandchildren: Joseph Holczinger Jr, Noah Holczinger, and Isabella and Brayden Moore.

He was predeceased by his brother Robert Holczinger.

Calling hours will be held on Friday January 24, 2025 from 4-8 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home Inc. 895 Route 82 Hopewell Junction, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday January 25, 2025 at 11 am at St. John the Evangelist Church 39 E. Main St. Pawling, NY.
