Josephine Muro, 83, of Stormville and formerly of the Bronx, died on May 27, 2011 at the Kaplan Family Hospice Residence.
Born in Easton, PA on July 1, 1927, she was the daughter of James and Beatrice Bocia Causa.
Josephine was the beloved wife of James Muro; mother of Christina Minieri, Marie Federico, Jamie Cummings, Patricia Muro and the late Jimmy Muro; sister of Jack Causa; and grandmother of six.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday and Monday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 am at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction followed by interment in St. Raymond's Cemetery in the Bronx.
