BEEKMAN - Judith G. Beyer, 87, an area resident for 62 years and formerly of the Bronx, died peacefully on February 17, 2026.
Born in the Bronx on April 9, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Gasper and Vera (Stella) Vacchelli. Judie was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who dedicated her life to caring for her family. She had worked for a short time as a switchboard operator for New York Telephone Company. She volunteered at St. Columba School while her children were students there, and with Beekman Little League and Beekman Girls Softball where she sponsored a team, " Judie's Girls".
She also served as a poll worker for the Dutchess County Board of Elections in the town of Beekman for many years.
On September 22, 1957 in the Bronx, Judie married the love of her life, William Beyer, who survives at home. She is also survived by her children, Lynne (Matthew) Theodoseau, Karen Millard, Beth Daley, John Otto Beyer and Timothy Beyer; her grandchildren, Daniel Beyer, Shannon Beyer, Christopher White, Steven White, Alaina White, Robert White, Robin Boniello, Jessica Dively , Gregory Eisenhut , James Daley and Joseph Daley; her sister, Carol Ann Hurray; 11 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her children, Bill Beyer and Judith White; her sons-in-law, Raymond Millard and James Daley; her daughter-in-law, Linda Beyer; and her siblings, Georgianna Foley and Charles Vacchelli.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Tuesday, February 24 at 11am at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Church, 1925 Route 82, LaGrangeville . Interment will follow in St. Denis Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the Hudson Valley Hospice Foundation.
