Obituary

Judy Lynn Ehler passed away on January 25, 2025 at St. Luke's Cornwall Hospital at the age of 71. She was born on August 16, 1953 in Pittsburg, CA to the late Robert Majors and Rosemarie Vetrano (Regis).

Judy worked for many years as the Recreational Supervisor at Somers Manor Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center. She was a bubbly person and a very kind soul who loved providing care and fun activities for the residents and patients there. She was very crafty and enjoyed making dolls for them, and she was also a doll collector herself. She also loved collecting elephants, reading crime mystery books and watching true crime shows.

Judy never had children of her own but was like a second mother to Katelyn and Tommy Curran and her nephew Ron Lombardi. She helped care for them since they were babies. They knew that they could come to her with anything, and she would always be there for them.

Judy is survived by her sister, Deborah Visconti of Rio Verde, AZ, her loving friend, Beatriz Curran of Beacon, NY, and Beatriz's children, Katelyn and Tommy Curran.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her stepfather Eli Vetrano (Pop), her brother James Vetrano, her nephew Ronald Lombardi and her brother-in-law Michael Visconti.

A service will be held on Friday, January 31, 2025 at 10:00 am at the Hugh J. Mauer Mausoleum at Fishkill Rural Cemetery, 801 Route 9, Fishkill, NY.
