Julia Ann Tucker, 92, a resident of Stormville since 1945 and formerly of Webster Groves, MO, died on Sunday morning, May 26, 2013 at her home at Homestead Farms in Stormville. The farm has been in the Tucker family since 1743.

Born in St. Louis, MO on October 27, 1920, she was the daughter of Theodore and Genevive Flynn Gosen. Julia attended Webster College (now St. Louis University) in St. Louis, MO. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Stormville Fire Company and the Wednesday Club.

In 1940 in St. Louis, MO, Julia married Charles F. Tucker Jr. who died on October 27, 2007. She was also predeceased by her son, Charles F. Tucker III on October 12, 2010; her brother, Theodore Gosen; and her sister, Mary Jane Sutton.

Julia is survived by her son, Scott H. Tucker and his wife Pauline of Stormville; her daughter-in-law, Dawn Tucker of IN; her grandchildren, Charles F. Tucker IV and his wife Pat of TX, Maria Tucker of LA, Brian, Meghan and Oliver Tucker of Stormville, and Kayla Contelmo of Montclair, NJ; her great-grandson, Inigo Nate Tucker; her brother, Jack Gosen and his wife Adeline of Freemont, CA; and many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 4-7pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The funeral service will be held on Thursday at 10am at the funeral home followed by interment in Hopewell Cemetery.
