June A. Howard, a Fishkill resident since 1983 and formerly of Voorheesville, NY, passed away at Vassar Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, NY April 29, 2013.
Born 1942 in Syracuse, NY to the late Frederick and Elizabeth (Adamek) Gifford, she was raised in Liverpool, NY, attended Liverpool High School and earned her Bachelor Degree from Syracuse University. In 2004, she retired as the Administrator of Medical Billing at Mid-Hudson Medical Group in Fishkill, NY where she was employed for over 20 years. Her smiling face was her trademark.
On June 15, 1963, June married James M. Howard at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Liverpool. Surviving June is her husband, her son Greg M. Howard and his partner Paul Corrado of Catskill, NY, her daughter, Susan Howard of Guilderland, NY, her grandchildren, Sarah and Ryan Howard, Jaimey and Matthew Strauch, her twin sister, Judy Haven (Ed) of Camillus, NY, and her brother, Fred Gifford (Ellen) of Arkansas and also survived by four nephews, a niece, and many other loving relatives and friends.
Interment will be held in the fall at the Liverpool Village Cemetery.
