HOPEWELL JUNCTION - June Neubauer, 92, passed away on Christmas Day, December 25, 2025, at the Taconic at Hopewell. An area resident since 1952, she previously lived in the Bronx.

Born in the Bronx on July 30, 1933, June was the daughter of the late John and Margaret (Fitzsimmons) Stillwell. She was employed as a teacher's assistant for Wappingers Central School District until her retirement. During her retirement, she was a waitress at Rocco's for many years.

On September 29, 1951, at St. Benedict's Church in the Bronx, June married John W. Neubauer, who predeceased her in 2011. June is survived by her children and their spouses, John and Betsy Neubaue,r and Midge and Michael Cangelosi; her grandchildren, James Cangelosi, Michael Cangelosi, Kate Neubauer, and Mary Palakas; and her great-grandchildren, Maxwell, Franklin, June, Theodore, Mikey, Lea, and Cloey.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, December 30th, from 4 - 6 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. A Mass of Christian Burial is being offered at 10 am on Wednesday, December 31st at St. Denis Church, 602 Beekman Road, Hopewell Junction, followed by burial at St. Denis Cemetery.
