POUGHKEEPSIE - June O'Sullivan, 73, passed away at Vassar Brothers Medical Center on December 27, 2025. Born on April 4, 1952, in the Bronx, NY, she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Mary (Morr) Robustelli.
June was a vibrant soul, known for her bubbly personality and her innate ability to connect with others. On March 3, 1973, June married the love of her life, James O'Sullivan, who predeceased her. Together, they shared countless joyful moments and adventures.
June dedicated many years of her professional life as a secretary at the New York State Parole Office, where her warm demeanor and commitment to service made a lasting impact on her colleagues and those she assisted. Beyond her career, June's generous spirit shone brightly through her volunteer work at the Vassar Brothers Medical Center. She took great joy in checking in patients, providing comfort by walking them to their rooms, and delivering flowers and gifts that brightened their days.
A true people person, June loved to gather with friends, sharing laughter and meals that created bonds that would last a lifetime. Her kindness and compassion left an indelible mark on everyone who was fortunate enough to know her.
June is survived by her children, James and his wife, Farah O'Sullivan , William O'Sullivan and his wife, Tracy Padilioni; grandchildren, Alexander O'Sullivan, Brandon O'Sullivan, and Sonia O'Sullivan; siblings, Vincent (Linda) Robustelli, Robert (Joanne) Robustelli, and sister-in-law Margaret Bavaro. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, January 2, 2026, from 9- 11am at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction, NY. Entombment will follow at Rose Hills Memorial Park.
Memorial donations may be made to Sparrow's Nest, 10 Town Center Blvd, Hopewell Junction, NY, in June's name.
