Wappingers Falls- Karen Perkins a resident of Wappingers Falls, NY since 2016 passed away on January 13, 2025 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. She was 85 years old.

Karen was born in Eau Claire, Wisconsin on August 30, 1939, the daughter of the late LeRoy and Kathryn (Pratt) Peterson.

Karen grew up in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and had also lived in Peoria, IL from 2005-2016.

Karen was a member of Daughters of the American Revolution, P.E.O. and enjoyed playing bridge.

She loved Antiques, and collecting different pieces and was an antique dealer during her time in the mid-west.

She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Roger Perkins of Wappingers Falls, NY, her daughter Lori and her husband Gary Van Voorhis of Beacon, her grandson Samuel Wildenradt and many nieces and nephews.

She is pre-deceased by her sisters: Kathleen Dunham and Patricia Kupka.
