LAGRANGEVILLE– Karen K. VanVlack, 66, died on December 29, 2020 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.
Born in Peekskill on August 27, 1954, she was the daughter of Kenneth and Virginia (Birdsall) VanVlack. Karen had been employed as a Supervisor for Green Haven Industry in Beekman for 10 years. She enjoyed skiing, biking, hiking, and exercising. She also loved dogs.
Karen is survived by her children, William Garrett of LaGrange, Jessica Garrett of Millbrook, and James Colgan and his wife Danielle of LaGrange; her grandchildren, Corrina Garrett, Dante Stebbins, April Stebbins, and Edward Tyler Colgan; her siblings, Thomas VanVlack, Cindy Young and Mark VanVlack; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Monday at 11am at the Hopewell Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc.
