Katherine Lorraine Perez, 52, was received into Heaven on February 11, 2017 with her dog, Tucker, at her side.

Born in Bronxville on November 21, 1964, she was the daughter of Leslie Thomas Jackson and the late Anne Schumacher Jackson. Kathy was a 1981 graduate of John Jay High School and attended Dutchess Community College. She was employed as a Real Estate Agent with Century 21 Alliance, and had formerly worked as a sales representative for Paul Mitchell.

Kathy was a member of the Hopewell Reformed Church. She was a person who always found joy in the little things – cooking, irises, watching "Days of our Lives", and listening to music to motivate herself. Only a phone call away, she was always there for everyone who needed her.
In addition to her father, Kathy is survived by her children, Chad and Karissa Perez; her siblings, Deborah Porco and husband Dom, Bonnie Luhrs, Richard Jackson and wife Tracy, David Jackson and wife Kiesha, and Barbara Lenz and husband Brian; her former husband, Charles Perez; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4-8pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The funeral will be held on Saturday at 11am at the Hopewell Reformed Church, 143 Beekman Road, Hopewell Junction. Kathy always said that she thought life should be celebrated. In keeping with her wishes, please wear bright colored clothes.
