Katherine Patricia Maurice Ricci, 76, a resident of LaGrangeville for 3 years and formerly of Cold Spring, died on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at St. Francis Hospital.
Born in Mahopac on June 27, 1937, she was the daughter of Thomas "Red" and Edna Tompkins Maurice. Katherine was a philosopher who enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles. She loved her grandchildren and treasured her pets.
Katherine is survived by her daughter, Diana McArdle of LaGrangeville; her son and his wife, Salvatore and Linda Ricci of Boynton Beach, FL; her brother and his wife, Ronald and Elizabeth Maurice of WV; her grandchildren, Dania and Devon McArdle; and her great-grandchildren, Camden, Taylor and Daniel. She was predeceased by her daughter, Kathleen Ricci.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday at 2pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction with Rev. Mark Mast officiating.
