Kathleen Magliulo Jones of Wappinger Falls, NY passed away peacefully in her home on April 16, 2021 surrounded by her family. Kathleen Magliulo Jones formerly of Pelham, NY graduated from Pelham Memorial High School in 1974.

She and her husband Hugh Jones have three children, Luke E. Mangels (Andrea) of Hopewell Junction, NY; Erin Ilardi (Anthony) of Poughkeepsie, NY and Katie Mangels (Jason) of North Carolina. After having three children, Kathleen also known as "Kathy" and "Kate" received her degree in Nursing for which she served more than thirty years, most recently at NYP-Hudson Valley Hospital before retirement in 2019.

Kathleen is known for her love, bear hugs, heart, smile, and especially her quick-witted sense of humor. She had many strong dimensions to her – a loving wife to Hugh, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend, colleague, etc. Kathleen is survived by 6 grandchildren that she adored and had so much fun with especially at her favorite place – the beach. Kathleen is also survived by her brother, Ralph E. Magliulo (Kathleen) originally from Pelham, NY; Mark Magliulo (Maria) of Old Bridge, NJ, and Laura A. Magliulo of Pelham, NY. Kathleen's Pelham parents, Kathleen M. Magliulo passed away in 2009 as did her father, Ralph E. Magliulo in 2016.

The outpouring love that Kathleen and her family received during her battle against cancer was inspiring, uplifting, and loving; a testament to how she lived her life with unconditional love for humankind.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 3-7pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday at 10 am at St. Kateri Church, 1925 Route 82, LaGrangeville followed by burial at Fishkill Rural Cemetery. PLEASE NOTE: In compliance with NYS guidelines, social distancing and face masks will be required.
