Kathleen Mary Kaine, 69, a resident of Pawling since 1983 and formerly of Evans Mills, NY, passed away on February 22, 2025 at Danbury Hospital.

Born in West Carthage on August 16, 1955, she was the daughter of the late Raymond John and Maxine Patricia (Chase) Schack. Kathleen was employed as the Deli Manager at the Pawling AG Market for many years and then briefly worked for Dill's Best/HG Page prior to retirement.

During her children's childhood, she was often eager to help. She was both a den mom and hockey mom. She enjoyed car rides and playing games during retirement. She also loved the Young and the Restless, and all Hallmark movies. Her favorite movie was The Wizard of Oz, but nothing brought more joy then spending time with her grandkids.

Kathleen is survived by her partner, Darryl Gangloff; her children, Stacie Stevens, Ronald Kaine II, Carisa Smith, Daniel Kaine and Christopher Kaine(the favorite); her grandchildren, Alexis Macina, Alyssa Kaine, Mason Kaine, Liam Smith, Carmeron Kaine and Catherine Smith; her siblings, Cindy Long, Randy Schack, Chris Schack, Sharon Freeman, Raymond(Chip) Schack and Kevin Schack; also many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Ronald Kaine; and her sister, Suez Waterman.
