Kathleen
Malone
March 8, 1945 – June 2, 2025
Kathleen Marie Malone passed away peacefully on June 2, 2025, surrounded by her family.
Kathleen was born on March 8, 1945, in Cortlandt Manor to the late Edwin J. and Elizabeth B. Taylor and lived in Shrub Oak, New York. As a young woman, Kathleen was a member of the New York City Ballet and notably danced as the Black Swan in Swan Lake. With such talent, she was asked to be a part of the infamous New York City Rockettes but politely declined.
On June 11, 1966, she married the love of her life, William Malone, Jr. She would have been married to her husband, Bill, for 59 years this year. Kathleen has often been thought of as Wonder Woman as she did it all. She lived for her family and truly loved each and every one of them so deeply. Kathleen is known for being the life of the party with her contagious laugh, sense of humor and always up for an adventure. Her sharp and witty humor has created lifetime memories for her loved ones that will be cherished forever. She loved dolphins, the beach, and the moon. Kathleen and Bill owned a home in Lake Worth, Florida for over 20 years where they hosted some of the best times for their families. Known as Nan or Nanny to her grandchildren/greatgrandchildren, Kathleen shared a special bond with each of them. She had an amazing ability to spread unconditional love and nurture the people she cared about. Kathleen's family is so grateful for the memories she has given them, and she will live on forever in their hearts.
Kathleen's loving family includes her husband, William Malone, Jr; her children, Billy Malone III (Lynne), Patrick, and Kelli-Lynn (John); her grandchildren Olivia, Ariana, Isabella (Kevin), Patrick, Bill IV, Jonathan, and Lauren; and her great grandchildren Camilla, Nicholas, and Daniella.
