It is with great sadness the family of Kathleen Ann Sadler announce her passing. Kathleen, 70, a lifelong resident of the Hudson Valley, left for the next great adventure on a beautiful Fall morning, the 8th of October, 2024.

Born on April 2, 1954 in Poughkeepsie, she was the daughter of the late William and Joyce Ann (Seal) Smart. Kat worked at home as a loving mother until her children were grown and then entered the nursing field.

Kathleen loved the beach and the sound of the ocean. It was her happiest place. She loved all things New Orleans and dreamed of traveling more. She adored animals of all sorts, having rescued many critters over the years. She loved her son, daughter and grandchildren more than anything in the world. She was a selfless woman with a big heart of gold. Kathleen taught her children love, kindness and patience, her affection was effortless.

She is survived by her son, Charles Sadler, Jr.; her daughter, Jessica Mucovic and her husband Besnik; her grandchildren, Sasha Sadler and Maverik Mucovic (her munchkin); her brothers, James Smart and William Smart; her former husband, Charles Sadler; and many nieces and nephews.

Kathleen will be welcomed into Heaven on Rainbow Bridge by her pets and family that have waited for her.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2024 at 11am at the Union Presbyterian Church, 44 Balmville Road, Newburgh followed by a lncheon in the church hall.
