Kathleen Elizabeth Thibeault, a 12-year resident of Coxsackie, formerly of Louisiana and the Hudson Valley, died at St. Peter's Community Hospital in Albany on Monday, March 18, 2019. She was 64.

She was born on November 15, 1954, daughter of the late Harold E. and Viola (Fleming) Stephens. Kathleen was affectionately known as "Nanny" and cherished her kids, grandbabies, and family. She loved cooking, graphic design, and listening to music, especially the blues.

Survivors include her husband, Brad Poster at home in Coxsackie; her daughter, Jill Thibeault & her husband Paul Ortiz of Louisiana; her son, William Thibeault & his wife Brittany of Hudson; her grandchildren, Hunter and Harlee Thibeault and David Poster; her stepdaughter, Colleen Poster of Louisiana; her siblings, Richard Stephens & his wife Colleen of Colorado, David Stephens & his wife Kathleen of Colorado, Karen Davis & her husband Wayne of Vermonts, Don Stephens & his wife Liz of Kentucky, Kim O'Donnell & her husband John of Hopewell Junction, and Earl Stephens of Coxsackie; her former husband and the father of her children, Stephen Thibeault; as well as many nieces, nephews, other loving relatives, and friends.

Kathleen was predeceased by her parents as well as her brother, Howard Stephens.

Calling hours will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, March 22 at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. A memorial service will take place at 7 p.m.
